Hello Everyone
Well, what a day John and I have had today. Busy, busy busy. It started with a 6 a.m. phone call from our grandson Will. He needed a lift to work and was Pa on call? No Pa had his car booked in for a service so Pa, who answered the phone, quickly threw the phone over to Granny. Granny can't say no so in 10 minutes I was out of bed into the car and tackling the traffic on the Freeway, taking Will to his part-time holiday job. The traffic was horrific coming home. Thankfully John took over at lunchtime to fetch him coming home. As I arrived home, Jack was waiting for a lift to his work in the city, so it was a double dose of traffic for me this morning.
By the time they returned, it was time for me to head off to a dental appointment with the orthodontist. It is now 3.30 p.m, And I have spent most of that time from lunch until now in the dental chair. So I am really looking forward to Happy Hour this afternoon.
Nutrimetics have a programme in place at the moment called Power Up. And that’s what happened here today. It was Power Up and quickly. But all good fun, however, and it is great to be able to help the grandchildren even if they are teenagers and as their mother says should be organising themselves.
I love having the boys in the car because you can have great conversations. Find out what they have been up to and of course, it gives me the chance to offer my approval or advice. So while my sleep was interrupted, my duty was appreciated and as I said, that one-on-one time I really love. I love to keep building their confidence.
So ladies Valentine’s Day is on the Horizon. I trust you are going to lunch or receiving flowers. I know John won’t let me down. I would love to share with you all a story about Valentine’s Day some 15 years ago. We had just moved to Brisbane and John decided to take Leisa and I out for Valentine’s Day. He had two places – which I can't name – mixed up. One would have been great, but the other where we ended up was really a disaster. He cringes every Valentine's Day from the memories. He is much more careful now, and I know I am in for a treat of February 14th.
I hope you don't mind if a skite a little for a few moments. Our wonderful company has just won several awards participating in the Real Media awards. The team at HQ in Sydney were beside themselves. They take so much pride in producing their Sales vouchers and brochures and to take out two awards competing against the likes of Aldi, David Jones, Bunnings and Chemist Warehouse was undoubtedly worthy of praise. We are in good Hands – congratulations and well-done Nutrimetics.
As well as our normal brochure specials the company have a bonus weekend of specials attached so if you are in need of anything it is the right time to give your partner a hint to phone Annette and surprise you for Valentine’s Day.
And to close with a lovely reminder from Louise Hay for February- Positive affirmations are becoming a natural part of my everyday life. The more I say them, the better I feel, and the better my life gets. Negative thoughts and experiences are fading from my reality. Every day this month will be filled with love and joy. I declare it to be so!
Wishing you all a very happy weekend and looking forward to catching up next week.
Take care and stay safe
Annette
