Hello Special People
As the year ends, I am filled with gratitude for all the goodies life has given me. I have learned so much about my own power, particularly how effective I am as a co-creator with the Universe. The light I have within me serves as a beacon for others to find their own way in the dark. Becoming enlightened simply means that I find my own light and then shine it for other people. As others become enlightened themselves, we all unite to bring peace, love and plenty to our world. We are all in this together, and spectacular things are coming our way!
What a special message from Louise Hay to commence December.
Welcome to the last month of this year! After all the astrological transformational events, especially in October and November, this is a time to catch up with ourselves, take a pause, integrate the changes and think of the new possibilities for the next year.
While I think we all enjoyed the recent rain, it has certainly been followed by very hot and humid weather here in Brisbane. I think the air conditioning has been on nonstop 24/7. Our beautiful Brisbane river over the road from us remains that dark chocolate brown from all the runoff water. I think it is going to take some weeks before it resumes its natural colour.
As we often say in our blogs, life throws us many different curve balls, sometimes in a day, sometimes it is in a week, and sometimes it is in a month, and we are challenged to appreciate the good times and challenged to be able to handle and cope with the not so good times. This last week, as a family, we have walked the path of both the good and not-so-good times.
Let’s talk about the good times first. Possibly the most exciting thing in the French household this week was the call from the developers of our new unit to say that we could have a pre-settlement inspection. I think we may have mentioned that the last time we could see through the unit, it came as a big disappointment with so many defects. Monday, we were pleasantly surprised to see most of these defects have been rectified, and so we have decided to settle, and our furniture and effects will move on the 18th of December. This will give our furniture time to air. I will be able to inspect the pieces that will need cleaning, and we will be ready to move into our long-awaited unit in early January. While John has not been well, the call that we could have the inspection on Monday did perk him up, and he loved seeing the unit in the new state.
And then for the not-so-good times. John has had two stints in the hospital, resulting in surgery this week. Thank you to so many of you for your very kind prayers, texts, emails and phone calls to pass on your best wishes to John. Your kindness is very much appreciated. We have been very blessed with him being able to have the top specialists who are available on very short notice.
Along with the blessings of the medical team, the blessings of our family and friends during this time have been so comforting. We are extremely grateful. I will keep you posted on his progress over the following weeks.
I guess there are four letters that continue to sum up the good and heal us with the not-so-good – LOVE. Adele Basheer reminds us "- Love is Love – It's love that heals and love that connects. It's love that forgives and love that forgets. It's love that lights the way.” We have certainly pulled on this reminder this last week.
Yep, life's little curve balls teach us and make us stronger, and as Louise shares – “I remember that acceptance is giving myself and others the ability to just be.” Sending love, peace and happiness Annette x
