Hello Special People
Well, we have just finished our last exercise class for 2021. I must say I am glad in someways. It is hard work. But after I relax from each session, I thank the instructors for the benefits the sessions have provided for me. I do feel healthier, and so I say to myself –"it is worth the effort and small amount of pain”. In fact, I must be honest. I am looking forward to the resumption in the New Year. I love the story of Lisa O'Neill, who says her Dad encouraged her to do just 5 minutes per day practices for her tennis to see her later in life become a National Champion.
Not sure how I will feel going on that first day in January? Well, the students who run the classes have covered that today. "Remember, it will be tough if you do nothing over the break," my guy said to me. So, guess it is up to me, and the discipline and consistency are back in my court. Like so many things in life, maybe everything, it's what you put into it. So, I said, Annette, you have to introduce some discipline and make sure you keep active and control the celebrations overthe holiday period. It may not be easy, I can tell you. I have been watching John doing a half-hour session combining exercise and some shuttle running, so I might just join in. It will keep him honest as well. The hardest part will be the celebrations. We do love to party, however, if it is to be, it is Up to Me!!!!
As Christmas approaches, I just want to thank all of you for your support and friendship. It is important that all of us realize how important small businesses are to the Australian economy. This has never been more evident than with our recent lockdown periods. I am excited to say we were part of the progress. We had percentage increases most months. Hearing the news about the important part small business plays in the economy made me proud to be part of the success. So many positive agendas arise.
Small business is an amazing way to service and leave an impact on the world we live in. When you support a small business, you support a dream – so true. Supporting another person's success will not dampen your dream. When you buy from a small business, an actual person does a little happy dance. Every small purchase makes a big difference, always celebrate side hustles that become main hustles, dreamers that become doers, big fails that become big wins, and individuals with ideas that become teams with visions. Giving a gift from a small business is giving a gift twice.
This really sums up what small business is about.
Small businesses provide the feeling that a real person is behind it all, someone who cares more about giving us a quality product or service over just taking our hard-earned dollars.
We have loved serving you in 2021, and we look forward to continuing in the New Year along with continuing the beautiful friendships we have made over these last 35 years.
Sending the blessings of peace, health and happiness to each of you, and until next week, take care and enjoy this special season.
Cheers Annette
