Hello Everyone
Well as we head to the month of November, we start to think of where this year has gone, and Christmas is once again just around the corner.
To me, Christmas is such a special time of the year. It brings families together, and we spring into that thoughtful act of giving to one another. I know it is not the only time throughout the year that we give; in fact, giving is the most rewarding habit many of us follow 365 days of the year.
There are so many ways to give. Think about your own situation. You may give of your time, energy, knowledge and self. Giving is an act of love, kindness, compassion and totally unconditional. It comes from the heart and brings happiness to the receiver and the giver. Happiness and giving are deeply connected, and both come from a place deep within our souls.
A gift no matter how large or small or whatever nature is something that is enjoyed twice. Just think about a present to a child. You watch as they open it. You see their eyes light up, and the smile comes to their face. The smile also comes to your face, and you feel the joy from that simple act of Giving. I know, as I mentioned before, Giving does not have to be in the form of a present or something tangible.
“The most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt with the heart.” Helen Keller
A very special form of giving can simply be a personal act of kindness. More so than we think. It is not money or material things that people need; it is the things that cannot be seen. Like good advice, a kind word, an appreciation, the sharing of some special knowledge, a compliment, a helping hand, some support during difficult times, love, or even just a simple smile.
Love this life lesson - In Life Never Forget these Important things;-
- Home is not a place but a feeling.
- Time is not measured by a clock but by moments.
- Heartbeats are not heard but felt and shared
We all have something to give. We all have something of value for another person. With most things in the world, there is only a limited amount of what you can give away. Thankfully, generosity and kindness are not associated with these same material limitations, and this makes the act of giving something extraordinary.
One of life’s basic laws is 'every single act of love, kindness and generosity will multiply and return to you many times over." When you give without any desire of getting something back, your returns will be limitless. To give something from the heart is an action which will fill your life with joy.
I know many of you have been so kind with your giving this year with our different times in lockdown etc. While we do not give with an expectation of receiving the Universe always seems to reward. It is the best feeling in the world.
Lao Tsu wrote a long time ago, "Kindness in words creates confidence, kindness in thinking creates profoundness', kindness in giving creates love."
To me, that sums up and supports the Art of Giving.
Sending love and blessings from our home to your home and until next week we wish you peace and happiness.
