Hello Special People
We hope you have enjoyed a fun-loving week, with each day something new unfolding.
“Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap but by the seeds that you plant" Robert Louis Stevenson.
It has been a monster of a week here. Starting with the airport pick-up for Keith and Dianne on Friday, and from there, it didn't stop. I think I have already told you Craig and Leisa are having renovations done in their house, so the two boys have moved into a unit while their rooms are being updated. So, they have no one to do their washing or the ironing. Guess who scored the job? It is difficult to say no to grandchildren, so now I'm looking after their washing and ironing. I have promised Will I will teach him to iron. He thinks that is a great idea but never seems to find time for the first lesson.

This week has seen lots of business meetings through the week. Nutrimetics is installing a brand new Computer System, and of course, we all must go to school to learn how everything will be done in the new system. For me, it is challenging. I do not like computers, I do not like change, and I guess that is why I find all this quite challenging.
Of course, the big news of the week was the Mighty Maroons. How special was that win? John went to the game with his grandsons, while I spent the night with Mark and Amy, watching all the stadium action from their unit windows. They are so close to Lang Park, and John is finding it convenient to park the car. I didn't think Amy and I were going to watch the match, but once it commenced, we could not help ourselves. John was so excited when he came through the door singing, "We are the Champions, we are the champions of the world." Fun and laughter. I do love the passion of the Queensland players. It oozes from them, and rightly so. They were far superior on Wednesday night. Coach Billy Slater is to be congratulated on how he goes about his work with each player with humility, not looking for accolades. In all his interviews, he passes on a healthy share of the recognition to every member of his coaching staff and to his players for responding so well to how each game should be played. I think I could get more interested in rugby league if all the teams controlled themselves as Queensland did on Wednesday night.

So today ended the week, and John was up at 4 am to take Will to the airport to catch a flight to Sydney so he could do a couple more interviews for their Podcasts. The Podcasts are starting to draw plenty of attention, and the boys have a couple of sponsors in the wings. You may love to tune into "The Business Of" as it will mean so much to them to be rewarded for their endeavours in the business world.
It was a very late night to bed here after the football and then the early start to the airport. We followed this with sandwich making with the Coffee Brigade (the numbers continuing to grow with 36 loaves to prepare today) and then off to exercise. We are both a little tired this afternoon, so maybe we will have a ‘nana’ nap this afternoon.
While a very busy week here, it was also filled with so much Joy and Happiness – A beautiful life grows from the moments we create, the moments we love, and the moments we live. Adele Basheer.

We hope you and your family have also enjoyed a week of Joy and happiness, and we send our blessings of health and happiness for the week to come. Enjoy this gorgeous winter weather.
Love Annette
