Hello Special People
"I love life, and I look forward to every moment" Louise Hay
I hope you are all enjoying our final weeks of summer.
John and I had a relaxing week at the beach last week, catching up with treasured friends and generally having a good time. The weather was a little windy and wet, so it was a good time to catch up on some much-needed rest. John had a good book, and as well as my new book “Radical Longevity” I found a new series on Netflix.
So, the rest is over. We came back to a busy week. Highlighted by two sessions of exercises and our introduction to Aqua Yoga at our local pool tomorrow. Topped off with work catch up, it sure has been busy. I survived the first one hour of exercises on Tuesday, and we are heading off to our second session as soon as I finish this blog. Not my favourite time of the week, but I know how good it is for our health and well being.
My expectation of the week is I will be tired on Saturday and in need of another holiday. I should really think about how I will feel. I am combining the added exercise of the week with another week of juice and shake and will be off to our health group this afternoon. I am a great believer in Karma, so if I start thinking I will be sore and tired from all the exercise, I guess it will happen. So, I must stop thinking about it. The reality is that I know I will benefit 100%.
After the holiday and all the "fun living", it was also time to detox. So, I am driving John crazy with all my juice recipes. He has decided not to join me and leaves the kitchen when it is juice time. He is kind, though. He comes back and does the washing up. Believe you and me, I do make a mess when I am in the kitchen.
While I appreciate the health benefits of juicing and detoxing, it was testing last night when I went to make my juice watching John enjoy some beautiful gnocchi and pesto (yummy)!!!
I am hoping the detox week accounts for a few added kilos from the holiday week. Once again, that is my expectation. Interesting, I just read the difference between expectation and hope the other day. Expectation means you are trusting theresults, while hope is that the future is uncertain. I think I will stick with expectation.
While we were away with two of our special friends (both Nutri lovers), there were discussions about some of our newer platinum products. It made me think about our"Speed Dates" we have live in our Facebook group each Tuesday nightat 7 pm. I would love to extend an invitation to each of you to join in with us on these sessions where our new products are always introduced with a 'how to'along with the features and benefits of the product as well as relevant special hints and tips on our different products. If you would love more info on this, please let me know. If you are unable to watch live, the sessions are always recorded.
