Hello Everyone
Oh my goodness, how quickly does the week come around? We trust that you have all enjoyed a fantastic and happy week.
We focus this week on the news topic of the week - Facebook and what the Social Media platform can and cannot provide.
Last Saturday night Nutrimetics for the first time ever, put in an extra effort to present our Annual Awards’ night via Zoom. The presentation was superb and highlighted the benefits of our new social media platform, with folk all across Australia and New Zealand able to connect to celebrate the evening.
John and I loved having all our Horizon Club together at home, watching on the big screen provided by and Ken and Maureen Watson. This gorgeous couple bought all the equipment with them from Ballina and very quickly had it all up and running, making it a very special evening for everyone. Our Horizon Club certainly caters for all our folk who want to move forward in the business and highlights the benefits of collaboration and sharing of ideas.
It is certainly a most rewarding experience watching folk join our business for such varied reasons and seeing them achieve their personal goals. It takes the meaning of Team to whole new dimensions.
Let's talk for a minute about life with Nutrimetics. I can tell you from my 35 years' experience. I have been asked so many times, and I simply answer you will find friendship, freedom, fun and most importantly, success. You will love being part of a great company, love using the products and getting paid doing something you really love. Remember, there are also the tangible rewards of cars, (registered and insured) along with the domestic and international travel (when we are able to travel again) along with the income potential. So let me ask you, what have you got to lose?
Here in Brisbane, we have all enjoyed this beautiful rain and trust that you have been able to enjoy the same wherever you live. We have been backwards and forwards to Toowoomba in the last few months, and unfortunately, they seem to have missed the rain up there. Everything here in the garden is looking so beautiful and green, and when I went out to walk on the grass today, I could feel the water squelching under my feet. The ground was so wet.
Tomorrow we take our weekly trip to Toowoomba to visit Mum and spend the day with her. She was able to have the cast taken off her broken arm this week, which is making things so much easier for her to mobilize and manage things. It certainly hasn't helped her enjoy her surroundings any more while she continually tells us how old the other residents are in the centre (says she who is 95). She has had numerous falls since she has been in care as she refuses to ask for assistance. In fact, she has watched the nursing staff push the rugs on the floor (which activate the alarm to alert the nursing staff she is mobile) under the bed, and she endeavours to do the same. She dislikes hospital immensely and refuses when the staff mentions hospital, so we are so fortunate that they have the facilities to be able to monitor her after the falls without having to send her to hospital. I say to my sisters; I guess you don't reach the age of 95 without having the traits of courage, strength and determination.
We have just returned from a few days away this week with our very good friends who we worked out while we were away have been friends since our children went to kindy together some 45 years ago. We loved our time away at the beach, catching up sharing meals together while having lots of laughs. We feel very blessed to have these treasured friendships, and love the business provides us with the flexibility to be able to have these times away. Guess the most important things in life are our health, happiness, family and friendships, and we give thanks daily for these blessings.
We wish for each of you happy times with your family and loved ones over the coming week and until we catch up again.
Take care and stay safe, happy and healthy.
Love Annette x
