Hello Special People
And now, as 2021 is fast becoming the recent past, and we focus on the year ahead, it is a good time to reflect on the consistently demonstrated resilience of human kind to overcome whatever the past crises over the centuries may have been. With this in mind, we can, with confidence and optimism, count on the inherent strength and endurance of our fellow humans and the renewed inspiration and creativity of our present and future generations in the years to come.
There was a time in years gone by when many Australians intent on travelling the world complained about the 'tyranny of distance" – today, there is far greater appreciation and recognition of the benefits our 'isolated' island home provides. With much of the Northern Hemisphere remaining in a state of Covid crisis, we can count our blessings – we are faring much better than most.
Australia has been more fortunate than most – and in this ‘good fortune,' our geography has been significant.
So, with the year coming to an end, I decided to look ahead. It's time to make way for the new, re-affirm and dream a fresh, embrace new joys, and embark on new voyages. Yes, I went to my Stars for 2022. I'm not sure I liked everything that popped up, but I was generally happy. It commenced by saying I will be more ambitious and my life will grow through travel, spirituality or study. The planets bless my daily work and health, and spirituality will be more of my everyday life. I love that part as I already take time out in the morning and evening to read special passages and listen to special speakers. On to my social life here, the stars are saying it will centre around home. Home is where the heart is, and family will take on more importance. Since lockdown, I have noticed I want to stay home more often. John is always on about going out for lunch, and a few years back, I would have snapped up the offer. But now I find it easy to say, “Let’s have lunch at home.” So, I am happy with my forecasts.
With mine decided, I thought I would look at John's. On his career, they are predicting he will meditate, spend time alone and develop the spiritual side of his life. Then they are asking him not to neglect his work or health. An interesting paragraph suggests he will become more sensitive, and I think he has already in recent times. So, look out 2022. He wanted me to put in what it predicts for his love life, but I told him we are not going there. But his social forecast is on love and home. Children will become more important. There is already an importance with our children and flows onto grandchildren. They go on to say he may be looking for a bigger home or renovation. I know we won't be moving, so it will be interesting to see what challenge he undertakes with a renovation.
Lots of fun, the Stars. Look at yours. I am sure you will get a lot of positives and come away smiling. Of course, if there is something you don't like, you just brush it aside.
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. We were in Yamba with family. While the weather was a little unpleasant, we had a very special, enjoyable time together.
New Year looks like a home celebration. That will suit me fine. I know John will cook something special, and there is already a bottle of Moet on ice. We will watch a couple of movies, and by then, the Hall clock will be chiming 12.
May the new year bring new happiness, new goals, new achievements, and many new inspirations in your life. I wish you a year full of peace, health, fun timesand lots of laughter.
Love Annette
