Hello Everyone
As we greet December the last month of 2020 Louise Hay reminds us;- This month I bring love to all seasonal gatherings. I enjoy spending time and sharing traditions with family members and friends. I use these precious occasions as opportunities to offer up my love and blessings, and I am grateful for every moment. I am generous with my love and am welcomed with joy wherever I go. I delight in my world, and my world delights in me. All is well as the year ends, and even better things are coming my way!
So how are you gearing up for Christmas? Is it all coming together for you? John and I have been out and about doing all the usual things that lead into Christmas. We have loved the present buying, the stocking of the cupboards, the ordering of the Turkey and Ham -all exciting things that make Christmas so special. I guess for so many this years’ Christmas will be that little bit more special. Those of us who have had relations and friends living interstate and overseas and have not been able to see or visit them through our lockdown months, I know will be extra excited.
We are off to Yamba to spend our holiday period with Leisa and Craig and their family. Mark and his family would love to join us. However, travel restrictions internationally are still in place, and so it is a stay at home Christmas for them.
So we will be continually relying on our zoom and social media programmes on Christmas Day to have some inclusion with them. I know how often this year I have spoken about how important the good old computer has been to all of us. Not only business-wise but also allowing us to keep in touch with loved ones and family who are not so close by. I never thought I would reach the level of technology that I did during the lockdown period. But when something confronts us, we either have the courage to step out of our comfort zone, or we sink. Sure, I had my fears, but I can tell you by showing the courage I have been justly rewarded. By being able to communicate with the team and our valued clients kept our business alive.
John will tell you I fear the computer. He hears me often complaining "What is wrong with this thing?" He jokes and tells everyone it is time to take cover when the computer is not responding.
I was complaining recently to him and his reply "Annette I am tired of hearing about the computer troubles". My response "Well I am tired of having the computer troubles so too bad too sad, you can just put up with my complaining." We are a typical household.
However, as I said previously, I will be forever thankful that I took a big breath and decided to learn how to do Zoom calls etc. Mind you, I had a lot of support from our social media Angel Kat along with some of our team who continue to challenge us to look outside the box. So guess the message is – if you have a fear take that big breath and step out of your comfort zone. I know from experience that you will find it rewarding.
Remember our shelves are still stocked with Christmas specials, and we would love to deliver them to everyone in the next couple of weeks. As well as still being able to shop from both our Xmas brochures we have two extra special bonus packs available to take advantage of.
The company have advised the last day for Xmas delivery will be 10th December. We were surprised today when John took the box of Xmas goodies to be posted to New Zealand to be told that we needed express post as technically the postage to be guaranteed for Xmas delivery was yesterday. We thought we were super organised.
We hope each of you is enjoying the preparations for the Festive Season as we are and we send blessings of good health and happy times until we touch base again next week.
Cheers Annette
