Hello Special People
While I mention in many of our blogs my love of Louise Hay, Adele Basheer, Florence Scovel Shinn and Maya Angelou, I also love the learning from our own Elena Lymbery, who mentions in her newsletter this week the following, which I hope you will find as interesting as I did.
We are starting this month with the Full Moon in Leo. This is an opportunity to finally close the door to something we have outgrown, focus on our passions and find new and creative ways of following them. This is a great time to start something new. The Universe put a green light for us to go! If you are not sure what that could be, start with health, and the rest will follow! There is so much change happening physically and energetically with our bodies. We are called to clean up on many levels: our diets, mental and emotional environment. Many spiritual traditions encourage fasting as a prerequisite for spiritual growth.
With the above advice, how are you all handling the heat? I am doing my best to stay in the air conditioning. I do not like the heat. It was John's idea all those years ago that we move to Brisbane, and there are times during this heat that I find a need to remind him. He certainly does not feel the heat the same way I do. I follow in my Mum's footsteps in this area as she also disliked the heat.
We have a beautiful story to share this week. A lady from Canada found me on the company website. (not sure if it was my personal website) Her name is Doreen and she was chasing some of our "crown jewel" product -The Nutri Rich Oil. She is to undergo major surgery preceded by some weeks of radiation. However, after investigating the cost of postage to Canada decided not to go ahead. John and I decided under the circumstance that we would supply and handle the postage. She emailed her appreciation and said she had full-on tears as the whole experience was taking its toll. John arranged the postage with the necessary tracking and found the parcel arrived in Canada within a couple of days. We have been blessed to have been given this opportunity to make this small difference in what lies ahead for her. Yes, it is lovely to receive, but how much nicer it is to give. One can only see truly with the Heart. The essential things are invisible to the eye.

I often say to John we have been blessed through the company to stay in some of the most beautiful places and hotels in the world. Still, the places we always remember are the place where we had that personal experience and made feel special.
We have a big week medically for us. John is currently at Wesley hospital having a routine colonoscopy, so I am on the taxi run. He is so looking forward to being able to be back to enjoying his exercises. It has been several months now with the different procedures that have prevented him from being able to be back fully into his routine. We have been nursing the wound on his head from the skin cancer along with a liaison on his leg to be healed ready for his hospital stay. As was explained to us, these wounds take a little longer to heal now with his age.
This weekend we are off to the Nutrimetics conference at the Gold Coast. We look forward to meeting so many of our friends from all over Australia and New Zealand. There will be lots of celebrating and stories to reflect. Some of the folk we have not seen for two or three years since the Covid lockdowns. We enjoy being able to share the business with pleasure.
