Hello Special People
Oh my goodness, as I sit to pen this newsletter to each of you tonight, I can't believe that a week has flown by. Are the days slipping by as quickly at your place?
We are certainly entering the exciting part of the year. Yes, it is Christmas. I am sure you have all seen the look on a child’s face as they open their presents. Excitement has built up in the weeks leading to December 25. It is released with the present opening. What joy there is, and this excitement plays such a big part in so many lives.

Such a wonderful experience is excitement. We have all enjoyed excitement in our lives. Many of us many times. For some, it can happen every day. It can come from adventure, commotion, drama, elation, emotion, motivation, passion or simply someone showing us warmth. I love adventure, motivation and passion. I know my life’s adventure has led me to so many exciting times. This adventure has called upon motivation and passion along the way. These two wonderful words led to so much success in our lives. I respect John’s passion for his Broncos footy team. While I can’t stand to watch a game, I admire his loyalty when they are playing so poorly, and I can’t help but hear the passion when they are playing well. It becomes feverish.
Excitement comes from enthusiasm, eagerness and exhilaration. When you love doing something, you are enthused, you are eager, and you feel the exhilaration as you prepare to start. The excitement kicks in as you are rewarded with the success of whatever your project may be. Sometimes you may not show your excitement. I certainly do not when Thursday morning comes around. It is exercise day, and goodness, I must admit it is hard work. To be quite honest, I start thinking about Thursday morning on Monday. However, I do manage to put a smile on my face when I see the rewards from this valuable part of my life.
When we are excited, we are happy. We are cheerful, contented, delighted, ecstatic, glad and joyous.
It is certainly difficult on Thursday morning when I wake not to dampen my excitement about exercises. However, I am sure we have all felt the tingle in our spine and our heart racing and maybe our breath quickening when experiencing real happy excitement. These are wonderful feelings coming from something that is happening or about to happen.
Today I reflect on two different episodes of excitement. Firstly, my sisters came to Brisbane from Toowoomba to see one of their granddaughters dressed ready for her first school formal. Now, that creates real excitement. The second, while we were enjoying lunch together, we witnessed a little girl enjoying lunch with her grandmother. They had obviously come into the centre of Brisbane for lunch, and that little girl just melted your heart. She was beside herself and wanted to sit in all the big cane chairs. The little pet had every piece of bling that I think was in her cupboard from the necklace, to the ring on her finger, the clips in her hair, her sparkling shoes and handbag, and to say she was excited was an understatement. She had obviously put every piece of her play jewellery on for a visit to town with her Grannie. I think seeing her excitement certainly filled our hearts.

It is great to remember the look on the child’s face and absorb that excitement and join in the fun and excitement of Christmas.
Until next week I send blessings of peace, health and happiness.
Cheers Annette
