Hello Special People. As we welcome April I would love to share the wise words of wisdom from Adele Basheer:-"By connecting with your true Spirit, you uncover an inner strength. A positive force and energy that sets fire to your soul."
I know that I have told you many times about how I love the garden. Yes, I still do. I spend some time each day doing something outside. I guess you could say our garden is my hobby. I drive John crazy. If a pot must be moved a meter, it gets moved a meter. Only this morning, he said to me, "Is that little distance going to make a difference? "reply, “John, can't you see it will get more sun." I hope that pot flourishes in its new position so I can show him what a difference a meter makes.
I remember being at a Nutrimetics Conference, and someone spoke about Mind Power. They related our minds to our garden. Your mind is like a garden that can be cultivated or neglected, and you are the master Gardener. You can cultivate this garden, or you can ignore it and let it develop whatever way it will. But make no mistake, you will reap the harvest of your work or your neglect. So, I left a note for John telling him to keep an eye out for a great harvest.
Sure, there was some Mind Power there. And you know Mind Power plays a part in everyday life. In fact, as we get older, it plays a very important part. If we don't have something to exercise our minds, it will diminish. We must continue to cultivate and feed it. While I know our hour at the gym each week is helping me in Mind, Body and Spirit, I don't look forward to it. However, our new Aqua Yoga Classes are the complete opposite. As I mentioned last week, we have increased them to two sessions a week and thinking we may go to a third one. I am just loving these classes, and I get my laughs for the week watching John dance to the music. They are not easy sessions. Ann, our instructor, really makes us work hard, and of course, she is cultivating our bodies and our minds with balance and coordination. It is also helping us to keep busy. I firmly believe a busy person has a busy mind, leading to a healthy life. We have to remember if we refuse to accept anything but the best, we may very often receive it.
John had his quarterly visit to his cardiologist yesterday and came away with a glowing report, and as the specialist, she indeed reiterated the necessity of regular exercise. So would love you all to join us in keeping our minds and bodies as active as we can to continue to live a healthy and happy life. As Louise Hay so appropriately quotes – I give to Life exactly what I want Life to give to me. Thank you for your lovely comments on last week’s blog. I have had a couple of enquires this week asking where we go to enjoy the magnesium pool here in Brisbane – it is at Ascot. A great facility, and of all the exercises I have done over the years, I love the Aqua yoga the most. Not sure if you all need to find a John to join you to fully appreciate the exercises, but he certainly makes me giggle watching him. I am actually having a bit of a laugh as I type this. Great fun and food for the soul, a good laugh.
In other exciting news, this month we are looking forward to the company release of our new interactive shoppable brochures. When viewing the online brochure you can simply click on your favourite products in the brochure and be linked directly to the product for ease of online ordering. This will be live to coincide with the launch of our May Brochure on April 16.
We are heading to Sydney with my sisters and husbands for Easter, and I am really looking forward to having a break and sharing special time together. We also send each of you the Blessings of the Easter season and wish you happy, safe travels if you are going to be on the road.
Take care and stay safe as we wish you peace, health and happiness.
Cheers Annette
