Hello everyone and welcome to April from Louise Hay:-"It is safe for me to change. I let go of the past and become a new person. All of the good habits I have been accepting into my mind are having a positive effect on my life. I trust the Universe, and all is well."
We love seeing the bright sunny sky once again after days of some of the heaviest rain I have seen in my lifetime. Also, take a moment to enjoy the beautiful clear skies and full moon at night as well.
Certainly great news the lockdown is over, and Easter will be Easter. Sure there are a few rules, but we have had them for some time now, and we are accustomed to them. I wonder if they will be with us forever. It is great to see churches open, but I am a little sad that I can't visit Mum as Nursing homes and hospitals will still be closed.
Mum is having a rough time at the moment. She is currently in hospital with a bad UTI infection. However, we are hopeful she is over the worst of it and could even be back in the Homecare before Easter is over.
John and I will be sharing Easter with Leisa and her family. We live next door to each other, which is so convenient when it comes to special times and, in fact, when we have lockdown situations. We are looking forward to having the time together. Daresay, we will have Mark and his family on Face Time at some stage over the holiday period. He is still begging for International travel to return so they can get out of the cooler NZ weather and enjoy the Queensland sunshine. Not sure it will happen for some time as we continue to have Covid cases happening.
I loved the drive to Toowoomba at the weekend. The rain has made such a difference to the countryside: beautiful and green all the way. I know many people had too much rain, and I do, of course, sympathise with them and realise how fortunate we were not to have the flooding.
I know you will get a laugh, but here we go with the Rose update. They are still all blooming. The suggestion to feed them each fortnight and water as required has worked. I have had blooms all summer, and with the warmer weather recommencing, I am still filling the rose vase. I have just come in from the daily inspection, and good news, the one that was being a little temperamental is showing promising signs and starting to shoot. John will be happy he was ready to give it the axe a couple of weeks ago. So it is all positive news on the rose front.
Remember, Mother's Day is just around the corner, so I will have our Social Media Angel "Kat" pop in the current brochure along with our just-released Beauty Edit as this is such a convenient way to be able to shop for Mother's Day.
We send our blessings for a very Happy Easter break. I know John will have a little chocolate bunny for me on Sunday morning, and I hope the Easter Bunny finds each of you.
I just love the April quote from my other favourite lady Adele Basheer;- Miracle Maker – “You have the gift of making a difference in the lives of everyone around you. You’re a light of transformation, An Everyday Miracle maker.”
Take care and stay safe and enjoy this special Holy period with your families and loved ones.
Love Annette
