Hello Special People
Well, I have certainly loved being in the garden since our return from Queenstown. The garden is close to full bloom. By next week it will be picture-perfect. John has been anxious to get into his trimming mode, but he has had the "death threat" if he trims before flowering. He is finding it difficult to turn the car around in our driveway and cursing the full-bloom hedges already to flower. I will send through some pics when they are really at their best.
After almost three years, the house next door appears to be almost finished. Just the occasional tradesman appearing at the moment. I sent John over with some welcome flowers, and the lady was delighted. She told him that had never occurred at any other place where they had resided. They have promised a barbeque for the neighbours to repay for any inconvenience they may have caused while they were building. I can't wait to congratulate them on their beautiful property.
I mentioned to John this week that I may give up the exercise program at the University and go to an extra Aqua Yoga session. While he left it to me to make the decision, he mentioned that "Motion is the Lotion", so I am only thinking at this stage. He wants to keep going to the University, so I can't see me letting him go alone. So, the dreaded exercises are still programmed for Tuesday. They are tough, and we both have aches and pains for a few days afterwards. But as he reminds me, we must keep everything moving.

We enjoyed a lovely weekend last weekend. I fitted in a couple of Aqua Yoga sessions, went to the local wine shop, restocked the cellar, and watched Hot Spring Gold win another race. We had Jack, our eldest grandson, with us for the race, and while we were excited riding it home, Jack was up and cheering. Great to see, and then he looked at Pa and said I put a few dollars on. Not sure what his collect was but at 10-1, he had every reason to be excited and smiling. I enjoyed this gorgeous weather with a walk and then spent time in the garden, which I love.
We are off to the Sunshine Coast this weekend. We are meeting up with some special friends from Toowoomba. One couple were neighbours when the children were growing up, and the other, I worked at the bank with prior to having our family. We just love and really look forward to those three days. It is something we have done for many years, and we all have a merry weekend. There are lots of laughs, a few Proseccos and red wines, and some fun games of 500. It is the girls against the boys, and it becomes pretty competitive. John does not talk much on the way home on Sunday afternoon after the girls have had the wins !!!!!
As Xmas is in the air and the company have released some amazing offers for Xmas will have Kat pop this up for your information.
Let’s finish today with a brain teaser – See if you can figure out what these words have in common:
1. Banana: 2. Dresser: 3. Grammar: 4. Potato: 5. Revive: 6. Uneven: 7. Assess
Are you peeking, or have you already given up? Give it another try. Look at each word carefully.
You'll kick yourself when you discover the answer. Answer: No, it is not that they all have two sets of double letters. Real Answer: In all of the words listed, if you take the first letter, place it at the end of the word, and then spell the word backwards, it will be the same word.
Thank you for your lovely and kind feedback on our blogs as we share our business and family. We trust that you and your families have also enjoyed a happy week, and we send the blessings of peace, health and happiness to each of you.
Love Annette
