Hello Special People
I am writing to you today from the Sunshine Coast. We decided to enjoy some time in the sun with treasured friends. Off home tomorrow, but it has been a great week. The sun has been beautiful, and we have had a great time with friends at lunches and dinners. Lots of laughs and catching up. John has really enjoyed the break. He even ventured into the water a couple of times. Not sure it was that warm, but he didn't complain. He loves the surf and finds it hard to resist – summer or winter.
I think I have mentioned the house being built next to us. Well, two and a half years plus down the track, and they were starting to landscape when we left at the weekend. Most days, we count at least 14 tradespeople on the site. I am still not holding my breath for the finish date. It is a very big block; they still have not started the Tennis Court or finished the swimming pool. Certainly, there did seem to be a little more urgency in completing the house trimmings. Maybe by July, we will see the finished product. The house itself looks magic, but noise, dust and early starts have kept us on our toes. I guess any house that takes over two and a half years to build must be something special.
I read this yesterday: - For the ladies still waiting for their Prince to ride up on a shining White Horse, please don't give up! With the high price of fuel, it could happen any day soon. So true, we might all be riding horses!!!!!
Our rose story continues with John suggesting it is almost time for pruning. I think I will hide the equipment until I am ready to supervise. Maybe I'll do the snipping, and he can pick up the pieces. Not sure at the moment if I will continue with them going into next year, but I have to admit they have been fun and a challenge. Still, yes, they are time-consuming, particularly if we are wanting to go away. The rewards have been the beautiful blooms, and I would undoubtedly miss those.
The company last Tuesday did a great session on the comparison of serums and boosters, so I will have Kat pop up the link as you may find it very interesting to watch the video. It really explains the importance of each and when to use the products for maximum benefits.
It's time for some exercise now. We love our beach walks and have been trying to fit morning and evening into our schedule. Happy hour has intervened a couple of afternoons, but I guess Red Wine has to be the winner sometimes.
"Friendship is the only cement that will ever hold the world together" Woodrow Wilson.
We trust that each of you has enjoyed a happy week, and we continue to love to hear from you as to what you enjoy about our weekly blogs.
Take care, stay safe and warm as we send the blessings of peace, health and happiness to everyone.
Warmest wishes
Annette
