Hello Special People
Well, I commence typing this blog with mixed feelings about the events both locally and internationally over these last days.
We extend our thoughts to the thousands of people across Brisbane, South East QLD, Northern NSW and overseas who have been affected by these recent events.
What better way to bring happiness and love than sharing our March thought from Louise Hay:-
March – This month, I start believing that I deserve all the good life has to offer. I take every opportunity to express gratitude for my daily blessings, knowing that they are an expression of the love that Life has for me. Life just keeps getting better and better.
Yes, we need to keep faith and trust foremost in our minds daily. “Every morning we are born again. What we do today is what matters most”. Buddha.
We have said how lovely it was to see the rain, but this last week was too much and has left too many people in trouble. It is heart-wrenching to see your residence in swirling water and even worse when you must come back to do the cleanup. Let's keep all those in trouble in our thoughts and prayers over these coming weeks. By supporting them, we can pass on the required encouragement and give them the inspiration to dig in and fight back. Support them with love. Remember, the World is full of beauty when your heart is full of love.
We have friends who we will be helping through their recovery. Buckets and mops and the washing machine are ready. We are geared, ready to start.
How does that saying go? What a difference a day makes. Well, this last week, it has been what a difference a week makes. Already so many cancellations. My favourite – exercise day Friday – is already off the agenda. The Supermarkets are struggling to get stock to replenish their shelves. John went looking for Fennel over the weekend, and the guy at Coles laughed and said, "Mate, that is one thing we do have." So not too many are interested in the good old Fennel. John loves baking it, and I use some in my health drinks.
John is lamenting a long year for his all-time heroes – the Broncos. He has watched the trial matches, and I have heard him moaning and groaning. "Can't see much change from last year," I heard him say after Saturday night's game. Poor guy, he was so looking forward to a better showing this year. I said to him after the moan and groan, "Life may not be the party you hoped for, but while you are healthy and here, you might as well dance." That put a smile on his face and bought him back to reality. Although he did mention, "Annette, sometimes you don't really understand how it feels."
As I close for this week, let's reflect on the happy message for March from Adele Basheer – "Happy Vibes – Love your storm clouds, Love your Sunshine, That's where you'll find your rainbow."
Sending the blessings of peace, health, and happiness, Take care and stay safe.
