Hello Special People
"The giving of love is an education in itself". Eleanor Roosevelt
Maybe you have already noticed this week has been "Volunteer Week." These people undoubtedly deserve the recognition. They are in so many areas of our communities. Apart from this week, most do not really receive any recognition. Some organizations would not exist without their Volunteers. So many come to mind, so it is beyond me to name them all. John highlights one from his working background, the Rural Fire Brigades. So many country areas rely on the local community to take on this challenging work. You may love to give them a thought this week.
Of course, those of us who do volunteer work for various causes are rewarded when we see the results of our work. I have mentioned many times how John and I feel after our morning each month making sandwiches for the homeless in the Brisbane city. We also volunteer in other areas, and it does bring a smile to your face when you see the help you are giving change the world of someone in need. It may be only for a day, a week or a year, or forever, but that feeling is rewarding no matter how little. It is certainly not that you are looking to be rewarded, but it is a privilege to be able to give back. Both of us believe we are here to help each other. By that, I mean everybody is helping everybody. What a wonderful world it would be. In fact, that is the title of John's favourite song ?" What a Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong. Giving away his age, isn't he?
Maybe you would love to join us in a little prayer of thanks for all our volunteers this week. “The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.” Mahatma Gandhi
Last week I spoke about the Iryna Wonder Oil. (Thank you to so many of you who made contact asking different questions about this product) It came on special this week on a Buy one Get one Free – so essentially a two for the price of one. You may love to take the opportunity while it is on such a great special to experience this beautiful product. As I mentioned to those who enquired how to and when to use the oil – I use it morning and evening, and I love the results. It has been on the market for 12 months, and Nutrimetics is rewarding all of us with this super special for Wonder Oils' first birthday. I would love to hear your feedback.
With our week off over Easter, we have been in catch up with our exercise program, so we have been going twice a week for the last two weeks, along with our two days at our Aqua Yoga, so we will be pleased to be back to our regular timetable next week. I still love the Aqua Yoga, but I must admit I find that hour in the gym, which has been two hours these last two weeks, a little trying.
We trust that each of you has stayed dry and safe over this rainy period. It was lovely to see the sunshine today, but from all accounts, we could be back into more wet weather this week. Today has been extremely humid here in Brisbane, and I noticed today that our beautiful green lawn is starting to look a little yellow at the roots. Yes, we have had so much rain. We were out in the country areas doing deliveries at the weekend, and we were amazed at just how much water was lying in all the paddocks and the creeks that were normally dry with so much water.
We thank you again for your lovely feedback on our weekly catch up blogs and send our blessings for peace, health and happiness to each of you.
Until next weekCheers Annette
