Morning Special People
“Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognize how good things really are.” Marianne Williamson
I thought this was such an appropriate message to oneself today as I continue to struggle with no bigpond emails, no communication from Telstra and learning a whole new IT platform from Nutrimetics.
And yes, on the flip side, we enjoyed another big week with our family. First of all, the New Zealanders arrived and then on Tuesday, we celebrated Will's 21st Birthday. Both are such special occasions. We love having our NZ family here for a week, and especially lovely to have all the grandchildren together to celebrate Will's milestone. So, it has been run, run, run for both of us while enjoying every minute. To top off the week, we have PJ's one of the New Zealander's birthdays on Saturday. He will be 14, so another celebration is ahead of us. In fact, the New Zealanders had a surprise celebration yesterday with Mark and Amy taking them to Seaworld as part of PJ's birthday gift. They all had an unbelievable time. Lots of happy chatter. We will miss them so much as they head home on Sunday.
So back to the big occasion, Will's 21st. His major party is in August, but the family gathering on Tuesday was so special on his actual Birthday. I have played an important role in Will's journey. I was there for his birth. He is the only one of the six grandchildren that I witnessed the miracle of his birth. Craig, his dad, was down with an injured back, so I was invited to the birth to support Leisa. I was there from the beginning and one of the first to be blessed to nurse him. Always a fond memory, and of course, that made a special mention on Tuesday night.
The down note for the week has been that jolly e-mail. Still not working. The grandchildren were laughing and giving their version of how to fix it. I almost conceded to letting them have a go. I am so frustrated, and Telstra is not being very kind. Still not sure where it will end. I have commenced a Gmail account to help solve the problem but will still persevere to get Bigpond up and running again. After 50-odd years with Telstra and 25 with a big pond email address, there are just too many things to make major changes in business communication now. Just an added diversion to add to the week. If you have emailed orders to me since the 25th of June onwards, please be in touch, as I will not have received them.
Now you understand why I have started this week's blog with "Yes, it has been another busy week in the French household", with me continually reminding myself after the storm, the rainbow always appears.
“Having somewhere to go is Home: Having someone to love is Family: Having both is a Blessing.”
Timelines – Every conscious step you take on your route is creating a new timeline and opening doors that previously were closed. That's why you can never see the full picture ahead because each step determines the next one. Let the flow of your heart lead you towards your most abundant timeline.
My daily reminder this week from Eckhart Tolle – “Acknowledging the good that you already have in your life is the foundation for all abundance” has served me well this week.
Sending the blessings of peace, health and happiness from our home to each of you. Take care, and stay safe and warm.
Love Annette
