Hello Special People
As we are both still feeling the healing effects of our Evil Knievel tricks of last week, we wanted to commence this week with a lovely message from Adele Basheer:- Wonder-filled Days Ahead – Find the song in your heart and dance to it. It's never too soon or too late to lean into your light and feel your soul come to life.
While things are improving, and neither of us has experienced any breaks, the healing process is a little slower than we would love. Certainly, there are still some very sore spots, and I am not sure if exercising the wrist or resting it is supporting the healing.
We missed our exercises this week. My arm was not ready for heavy lifting and John ended up not so well. While I made it to Aqua Yoga on Saturday, John was still avoiding the water with his injured finger. It has become more swollen and blacker as the week progressed. Thankfully, while he was removing the plaster on Sunday night, the huge blood blister released and eased a lot of the pressure. While probably not normal, he was quite excited when he took the plaster off to see blood flowing. It is still a concern, and I have, in fact, made a second appointment with the doctor to check things out.
How does the saying go – things happen in threes? To cap off a week of wows we are having internet worries. The gremlins have decided to visit. No internet, no computer, emails, TV etc. I was ready on Sunday night to watch the final episode of "Territory". Yep, I probably do get a little too involved in the series. Well, this was one I was enjoying and wanted to watch the final episode and no internet!!! A few phone calls for help but no one really wanted to know us being a Sunday night. We began our magic of switching things on and off, pressing buttons, and yes, it worked temporarily. I eventually had the TV working and was able to see the final episode. Which, of course, as it happened, was not the final episode. There is obviously going to be another series. It is an Australian series about the largest cattle property in the world.
On the business side of things, it has been a Nutrimetics week. We had the Toowoomba Xmas Launch on Wednesday and the Ipswich event on Sunday. I missed the Toowoomba launch after my fall incident but managed to make Ipswich. Both events were highly successful and a credit to the girls who did the organizing. Our folk love that personal contact. Nothing beats being able to feel, try and touch the product.
The news of the extended family this week is that Will will be in Sydney for his speaking engagement at the Imarc Mining Conference. He has a short segment and then does workshops for the remainder of the week. It was a wonderful experience for him, and he was quite looking forward to going when we spoke over the weekend. Sometimes I think he is spending more time in Sydney than at home. Maybe one day, it will be his home. He will be back there in December and January to continue his Internship with JP Morgan.
Still no date for our unit completion. We have stopped being excited and have decided to just keep enjoying life. We spoke to some friends who have purchased in the block, and they have resigned themselves to after Christmas. You can see there is no need to get too excited.
We have someone coming from the NBN today. Fingers crossed he can stabilize our system and attend to these gremlins. There is nothing more frustrating than being without the internet. We rely so heavily on technology. In fact, the way the world has gone, we really can’t live without it. The technician has just been, and what a special young man. Such a gentleman shoes off and was so obliging, helping us with other little questions we had such a credit to NBN.
Sometimes, when the curve balls come, it is difficult not to question, but I received the following Mirror Mantra with an order I received this week, which I would love to share.
"Thanks for your purchase. Self-love and self-care go hand in hand. Attach this card to your bathroom mirror. Look yourself in the eyes and repeat the Mirror Mantra. I allow myself to be held in a sacred space of unconditional love. I nurture my spirit. I nurture my body. Every day, I honour and care for my beautiful self."
I Loved receiving this beautiful message of peace, love and happiness, which I forward to each of you.
Love Annette x
